Adam Griffiths

Hi, I'm Adam Griffiths, a Computer Science Student and Freelance Web Applications and CodeIgniter developer based in Shrewsbury, UK. I might only be 18 but I've written a book, maintained a popular blog and am one of the organisers behind CodeIgniter Con 2010, the first two-day UK conference and hack day for CodeIgniter.

Hire me

I have worked on websites and web applications for the past five years, with the last two years dominated by CodeIgniter based projects. Being a well known member of the community, releasing quality libraries that are used by many others out there and having written the book CodeIgniter 1.7 Professional Development, I have the experience, know how and good standing to take your project from conception to completion.

Dynamic Websites

This very website is an example of my work as it is running off a custom CodeIgniter based Content Management System (CMS) featuring a powerful tagging system to easily separate your website into pages and snippets. Snippets are simply chunks of your website and can be anything you like. Each one of these websites footer blocks is a separate snippet. If all you need is a dynamic website then I can provide you with this system including installation and training and any modifications you may need.

Web Application Development

Being primarily a freelance web applications developer, I love getting deep in code to build something that thousands of users can reasonably use for whatever purpose the app is for. I love playing with API's and squeezing that little bit extra from your application. From conception to completion, and even the server administration, I have it covered.
